SUCCESS REPORT:

For the past few months, a grey Haval Jolion has been actively targeting Toyota Corolla Cross vehicles across Gauteng, operating in multiple regions including the West Rand, Johannesburg, the East Rand, and Johannesburg South.

On 22 September, intelligence directed operational teams to the East Rand, where the suspect vehicle was observed scouting for more than an hour in search of a Toyota Corolla Cross to steal.

Eventually, the suspects successfully stole a white Toyota Corolla Cross outside Kempton Park Court.

Strategically positioned teams monitored exit points in anticipation of both the stolen and pilot vehicles.

The suspects later abandoned the stolen Toyota Corolla Cross, which was promptly recovered by the teams. Shortly thereafter, the grey Haval Jolion was intercepted and pulled over, resulting in the successful arrest of three suspects — including a female suspect.

Previous intelligence had indicated the involvement of a female driver piloting stolen vehicles using the Haval Jolion.
