I was rounding up my bachelor’s degree program from the University of Nigeria (UNN) in 2019 and I could say it was then reality dawned on me that once I was through, next up was NYSC and then I would join my peers searching for a job in ‘Nigeria’. My friend and I had always said we’ll hit it big before we graduated and maybe we would have if a couple of things hadn’t gone wrong that same year.

First, people need to realise this man runs a successful business in an economy when businesses are folding up on a daily and still competing against a strong foreign company(Opay).

Last year I worked on a Web3 project and they used Figma a lot. I was “forced” (that’s what I call it 😂) to buy Overlord so I could move frames from Figma to After Effects with one click.

Since then, I use Figma for all my storyboards before animating in AE. Total game changer.

Everyday, I'll get 'Hey man, do you need help with this task?' I'd say, 'Yes' & be like, 'Wow nice work environ'.
2weeks, CEO called & was like 'we don't think you're a right fit for this role'. Na there my eye clear!
Turns out my 'destiny' helper..

@ozzyetomi ...had a team of editors &was trying to hoard all the work for his team. I told CEO to give me till Fri to prove myself (dat was wed), thankfully, I'm still there now.
I NEVER took any break after that. Guys nearly everyone's out to eat you in this space. Be very careful.
