We had postponed our trip by 2 days due to bad weather to cover Pahalgam in our 8 day trip and visit the place which is described by many as paradise in Kashmir on the fateful day. Little did we know the ramifications of that one decision. We were four of us that day me, my wife, my brother and my sister-in-law who traveled from Srinagar to Pahalgam by car. My brother is a senior officer in the Indian Army and was on vacation to spend time with the family and accompanied us for the trip.

We reached Pahalgam town around 12:30pm on Tue, 22nd April and took the pony ride to Baisaran valley and reached by 1:35 pm. It was completely muddy road until the top and covered by Pine trees on the hills all around. The 2 pony guides talked to us of the beauty and charm that is Pahalgam . We entered by the main gate like everyone else and went to one of the cafes setup by the left side of entrance. We were taken away by the majestic view and the landscape and enjoyed it with a cup of tea and kawa. The clock showed 02:00 PM, so we got up to take a stroll and click some photos of what should have been the cover photo of the Kashmir trip album. We were lucky to move in the direction opposite of the entrance. 1/4

In India no offense, but especially among Thar and Scorpio owners there’s a noticeable tendency where they just can’t seem to handle seeing someone else driving a more expensive car or bike.

If you’re behind the wheel of something like a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, they’ll often go out of their way to overtake you just to feed their ego.

As someone who’s been into off-roading for years, I’ve seen it firsthand Thar drivers, in particular, can get aggressive, flashing middle fingers or picking fights for no real reason.

Just a suggestion, or rather my advice: install dashcams on your vehicles Especially in situations like these where egos flare up on the road, having video evidence can be a lifesaver. 🙏🏻

It’s just a certain mindset, and honestly, it’s not worth engaging with.

महोदय ओखला फेस 3 के गेट से मोदी मिल फुटओवर ब्रिज तक फ्लाईओवर की सर्विस रोड पर अवैध रिक्शा स्टैंड बनाया हुआ हैं, और यहां गलत दिशा से वाहन भी बहुत आते हैं।

पिक आवर्स में प्रतिदिन यहां जाम लगता हैं और अनेक दुर्घटनाएं होती हैं।

यह बस आनंद विहार स्टेशन से 20रू सवारी बिठाकर लाते है बाद मै सवारी से 500रू लेते है और सवारी से मोबाइल फोन लूटपाट और मार पिटाई भी बस के अन्दर करते आते है बहुत बार तो बीच रस्ते पर ऊतर के चले जाते है
