Today, I stood on the dusty, broken roads of Muhoroni and Awasi, listening to the heartbeat of a community that feels systematically abandoned by the current regime. What I witnessed was a heartbreaking testament to government neglect and the collapse of our local economy, starting with the crumbling infrastructure that makes basic movement a struggle. The silence of the Muhoroni Sugar Factory chimneys is not merely an industrial failure; it is a direct assault on the livelihoods of thousands of families who now face an uncertain future.
To make matters worse, we are hearing deeply disturbing reports that the factory's milling machines are being dismantled and transferred elsewhere in the dark of night. We demand absolute clarity on these rumors and the opaque leasing process that has callously disregarded the Muhoroni Sugar Primary School, leaving parents helpless and children’s education in jeopardy.
The injustice extends deep into the soil of this region, where land grabbing at the factory’s nuclear estate and in Miwani by outsiders is displacing our people and fueling deadly border conflicts. In Koguta, lives are being lost due to insecurity and cattle rustling, yet the government remains silent while the lack of basic street lighting makes our neighborhoods vulnerable to crime. We see a system where CESS is collected but never reinvested to help the residents, where locals are denied employment opportunities in their own backyard, and where workers are dismissed improperly without a shred of dignity.
Linda Mwananchi is the only movement left with the courage to voice the plight of the people, carrying forward the spirit of advocacy that Raila once championed. I stamp my authority as your party leader; we have the vision and the capacity to run for the Presidency and take this fight to the highest office in the land. We will no longer sit back while our resources are plundered and our people are marginalized. Muhoroni and Awasi, I have heard your cry, and the movement to reclaim our dignity and our future starts now.
@Itumbi_Denis Ruto told us Bottom up, his government will be for and run with mama mboga and boda boda, we haven't seen anything close to that, he is making life harder for mama mboga, boda boda, students and everyone. I will never vote for Ruto again.
@realDonaldTrump We would like you to also make King Leopold to account for the lives of Africans they butchered in Africa and both Italian, British, Germany, Portuguese governments need to talk all sheets they to us first.
THE FUTURE IS NOW!
As elections approach, youths must rise and use their votes wisely — choosing integrity, unity, and progress over division and manipulation. Leaders must remember that true leadership means service, not power.
