If your marktn agencies cared about headlines, it's something little.

They want each headlines to be amazing. One headline looks like something simple. But a 100 of blog posts with great headlines will make a lot of difference. It will make a lot of difference in the market.

Five years ago, I joined TalentQL as an intern, and now my watch has ended.

Today, I leave @AltSchoolAfrica, having led the Learner Success function, supporting more than 35,000 paid learners in 11 cohorts across 100 countries.

I have taken time to reflect on my time at AltSchool, and the simplest way to describe everything in a few words is that I am incredibly proud of the work I did and what we accomplished as a team.

Over the last five years, I've had the privilege of working alongside incredibly talented colleagues across Learning, Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Careers, Operations, and Leadership. Together, we served thousands of learners, solved complex challenges, experimented, learned, and continuously improved the experience we were building.

I am grateful for the opportunity I got to learn, work with the best people, and grow into a world-class talent. I did my best, gave my best, and became my best. Overall best, I dare say.

To every colleague who trusted me, challenged me, and collaborated with me: thank you.

To all our learners who trusted AltSchool with their career journey: thank you. You taught me much, and I am positive that I also contributed to your experience.

I'll share more of the lessons I learnt later.

What's next as I close this chapter? I'm open to new opportunities.

I'm open to and looking for roles in Customer Success and Experience, Community Leadership, Experience Design, Program management, Product advocacy & success, and cross-functional strategy. The work I'm most energised by sits at the intersection of people, systems, and business outcomes.

I have a limited scope of what it can do. Then I watch someone do things with and I am wowed. Really have no words.

Facts. But the secret isn't just UNILAG the school, It’s UNILAG the location. Being in Lagos puts industry right at their doorstep, and it shows in far more than LinkedIn:

Akoka/Yaba is Nigeria's tech valley: CcHUB, fintechs and startups are one bus stop away, so internships, bootcamps and hackathons are within walking distance.

Corporate HQs on the Island & VI: banks, telecoms, oil & gas, the Big 4, pull their SIWES and interns from schools nearby.

Real industry summits, career fairs and recruiter meetups happen in Lagos almost every week, and their students just show up.

Doors into media houses, ad agencies, NGOs and embassies for hands-on experience before they even graduate.

The exposure is real, LinkedIn is just where it gets documented. Location is quietly one of the biggest hidden curriculums.

I know that posting good designs for 6 months straight will probably change my life. But then, I am not doing it.

Two things: consistency and the not so sure of getting what I want.
