The jihadist terrorist wanted to crash the Dubai-TLV flight and murder everyone on board.

Instead, he was met by courageous Israeli passengers who fought back - alongside an Indian pilot & Emirati crew determined to save the aircraft.

Israelis, Emiratis, Indians standing together against terror.

That is the future of our region and the world. 🇮🇱🇦🇪🇮🇳

This man is a hero.

Captain Smit Machchhar, the Indian captain of flydubai Flight 1073, fought back after being stabbed in the cockpit.

Despite being severely injured, he managed to unlock the cockpit door - allowing Israeli passengers and the Emirati crew to intervene and save all the passengers.

Together, their extraordinary courage saved 174 lives.

Indian. Israeli. Emirati.

Different nationalities. One extraordinary act of courage. 🇮🇳🇮🇱🇦🇪

We wish Captain Machchhar a full and speedy recovery.

🙏@NCWIndia @RajasthanPolice @CyberSafety @MinistryWCD@Annapurna4BJP@savitrii4bjp@VijayaRahatkar@SikarPolice

Congratulations to my friend Prime Minister Meloni on becoming the longest continuously serving Prime Minister in Italy's postwar history. This milestone is a reflection of the trust and confidence of the Italian people in her leadership.

Her friendship has also been instrumental in strengthening the India-Italy Special Strategic Partnership and I look forward to continuing our close cooperation to build a prosperous future for the people of our countries.

My best wishes for her continued success in the years ahead.
