@elusives_@DavidDeutschOxf And that's what makes universality so important. In the Popperian view, we aren't "smarter" than Neanderthals and AGI won't be smarter than us. Because you can't be "more universal". The degree to which we are more advanced is cultural, not physiological.
@GeneralMCNews He does realize that he (POTUS) does not create laws, right? They must be created and passed by Congress first. He has no power to create laws governing Congress.
@elonmusk That's such a ridiculously silly comment, from an otherwise brilliant guy. But it just goes to show you don't have to understand the economy to make a lot of money.
@realtimeai@elonmusk Esp funny since vasectomy and IUD appts rose after the election. Which Musk supported on the premise that it was liberals eliminating themselves. So he's ok with pop collapse as long as it's liberals. 😆
@christiandean_ Surely you'd agree that children should be free to eat this "slop" willingly? Yes? I mean I too am against the movement to kill traditional meat products. But I'm not against the knowledge gained from creating stuff like this (if chosen freely).
@Thib_DP @christiandean_ Yes I get that. I'm asking if you are accusing companies of current abuses. Or if you are simply advocating for a megaphone to call out possible abuses in an "unregulated" environment (which I agree with).
@christiandean_ Agreed. To be fair though (in the US at least) both sides are certainly guilty. ANY attempt at reasonable abortion protections is met with "you want to kill babies". Seems to be a symptom of the current trend of hyperbole.
@4Tier_Bridge @christiandean_@yaronbrook The average African worker is just as capable of economic misconceptions as anyone else (probably more). After all, even most people in the west believe that our economy should be "more affordable" which can't be done.
@Thib_DP @JMilei Most (in western democracies) are. They just have different definitions of freedom, along with deep misconceptions about "his" definition of freedom.
@astupple@Andercot And imo, problem solving seems inherently expansionist. If you're trying to solve a problem and you've decided it must be a solution that reduces "being seen", you're going to be terrible at solving problems. And yeah, you'll never be seen. 🤣
