I have no insight on the substantive case, but would expect it's likely in Jordan territory now, all because police fought like hell not to do their jobs. Will there be ANY political fallout for this? Seems doubtful

The law on this is clear & SCC wrote a great decision. But the case raises some concerning questions: How many cases of misconduct were hidden from accused who went on to be convicted? How much did taxpayers spend for EPS to pursue this self-evidently losing case?
