i just got hired for a job working as a Guest Service Coordinator for a Emergency Family Shelter!

went into the interview and was heartbroken to see all the little kids living in this system and dealing with homelessness. here's to hoping i can help make some real change here.

why does it seem that EVERYONE ACROSS THE FUCKING GLOBE hears about us in terms of gun violence and mass shootings but we don't hear a peep from anywhere else? i mean the UK is a free country with free press, Australia is too, so is Japan... so what, pray tell, is the issue?

with the majority of the countries ranked above us being war-torn, gang-ridden, and underdeveloped. whereas the UK, Canada, Japan, China, and South Korea all have numbers significantly lower than ours by a hundred-fold.

if y'all are so worried about "what if there's a person trying to hurt me or my family and i don't have my gun?" why has there not been an international crisis reaching our media in regards to an increase in violent crime among countries who have gun control laws in place?
