A very well thought out exhibition 'Clash of Empires' @The_RPSL Some great material looking at the background, the fighting and aftermath and legacy of the Anglo-Zulu War. Recommended if you can get there in time.

Halifax, Nova Scotia today. Very atmospheric near the sea thinking about the Battle of the Atlantic. Too late to get on board HMCS Sackville, but sobering given the size of the ship what they were expected to do.

A short trip to Canada - the National War Memorial in Ottawa and the National Gallery of Canada well worth visiting. Especially enjoyed seeing Benjamin West's Death of General Wolfe.
