@lukomski_sebito I assume you simply *forgot* to mention events like Cincinatti where the exact same format for both men and women yields less money for women? You must have just forgot, otherwise you'd be misogynistic and simply peddling your own agenda, and that couldn't be the case, right?
@thankyoubyee@lukomski_sebito What do you mean a lower tier? They're both 1000 events. True that they're distinct, which ultimately I feel is part of the problem...but I agree that the format at slams, whichever way it goes, needs to be the same for men and women, mainly just so everyone can stop arguing π
who i need jodar to turn into today:
- Pete Sampras
- 2008 Rafael Nadal
- 2025 Halle-level Alexander Bublik
- 2006 Roger Federer
- Novak Djokovic in the form of 2015 Novak Djokovic
RG is always my favourite slam (despite hating the FFT) and I've loved this edition so so much, and I just know I'm gonna hate it by the end cause Zverat will win and Sabalenka somehow won't π
Two very similar sets, one getting out to an early lead, the other building momentum and fighting back a break, but just not enough to claw back the set. 3rd is anyone's guess. I'd lean Bencic right now.
