“All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident"
Hopefully the third stage comes as fast as we’ve saw the first two this week
Marcus Rashford is now saying he wants to continue to make more changes.
I told you these control freaks won’t stop until we’re all socialists with universal basic income and free unicorns.
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say the tribe trying to end the murder of innocent people based on the colour of their skin have the moral high ground over the tribe having cornettos by the sea
Everything is so ludicrously tribal these days. Huge crowds on a beach: one side says it’s fine. Other side says it’s bringing another Covid 19 wave. Huge crowds protesting against racism: side who says it’s fine on beach, says it will cause 2nd wave. Other side says it’s fine.
If you can watch more than a couple of these and think the murders of black people around the world are down to a ‘few bad officers’ rather than a symptom of an institutional problem, then there no hope for ya
If a group abuses power with impunity, then maybe they’re the thugs
1️⃣ Houston TX: trampling a peaceful protestor with a horse
(If you can't control it in a crowd, you shouldn't be riding it; if you *can* control it, then the trampling was deliberate)

It is, of course, important to remember that there are many major differences between the populations & geography of NZ & the UK.
Nowhere near as many major differences as there are between our respective Prime Ministers, though.
As an American currently in South Korea, it’s very interesting to me the stark contrast of how different the two countries’ response to coronavirus is. I don’t think most Americans fully understand the lengths that South Korea has undergone, so I’ll try my best to explain.
