@ColinZwirko The fact that the launch pad area is devoid of any vehicles coupled with the recent movement of the mobile assembly structure suggested a preparation for launch (since the area must be clear).
@ColinZwirko@ColinZwirko What about Satellite imagery from today? I mean, coupled with the very recent statements on the KCNA about their satellite launch, I think the main launch pad is showing indications for an impending launch.
@UDMH11@stoa1984 Do you think this launch really did carried the recon spy satellite? I'm just thinking that North Korea won't really be that insane enough to put their first recon sat on a brand new untested rocket.
@martyn_williams I request for you and your team @38NorthNK to post new changes on the imagery to the main satellite launch pad. I have a strong feeling that another rocket launch would take place form there before the 11th of June due to the activity.
@martyn_williams@martyn_williams Could you please keep an eye on thee main Sohae satellite launch pad? The activity on it just seems so suspicious, as if they were planning another rocket launch soon on the main launch pad due to the preparations there. https://t.co/Gp9WYtEnch
@DaveSchmerler@Pparkjaewoo@DaveSchmerler If you find something interesting, please post the satellite imagery at your twitter account. The main launch pad preparations just looks very suspicious. Especially with the latest imagery on it: https://t.co/Gp9WYtEnch
@DaveSchmerler@Pparkjaewoo@DaveSchmerler Can you please keep an eye on the Sohae launch site, especially the main one? Because I have a feeling that North Korea is preparing to launch another rocket from the main launch pad due to the preparations there.
@DaveSchmerler@DaveSchmerler But instead the real Malligyong-1 satellite would be launched from the old pad, probably using another launch vehicle. Since they said that they are developing newer and more sophisticated launch vehicleS, with the word "S" behind their statement.
@DaveSchmerler@DaveSchmerler But instead another rocket containing the real Malligyong-1 satellite would be launched from the main launch pad. https://t.co/WllkVS8xV8
Maybe they intentionally did this to test their new rocket under the disguise of launching the real satellite.
@DaveSchmerler@DaveSchmerler I reckon that also. Their top military member says the spy sat would be launched on June but instead the rocket is launched on the 31st of May. I think this Chollima-1 didn't contain the satellite.
@PeterPa54728284@ColinZwirko@planet Yeah man I also reckon the same. Their top ranking military member said that North Korea would launch their satellite on June but instead they launched the rocket on the 31st of May. And the old launchpad is showing preparations for launch even tough the new pad is used.
@ArmsControlWonk@planet4589 Remember the RD-861 rocket engine does not uses cryogenic or semi-cryogenic propellant, but only hypergolic one. So they must not have copied the RD-861 since if it was true that the North Koreans are using semi-cryo or cryo, the RD-816 wouldn't fit.
