The car has been really busy this week. Our GG newsletter will be out soon and we will share a bit more information about the car then, but basically for Golspie residents with mobility issues and no access to transport to clinics we hope the car will make things easier

@fatval999 @TrumpFragile @Emma_Roddick Visitor numbers to a certain Castle near Golspie stood at 120000 in 2019. About 20% of that was pre booked tours from cruise ships. 2015 numbers were 40000 all in ... The castle employs 70 staff .These extra visitors all paying their money didn’t just fall out of the sky.

@Emma_Roddick @fatval999 @TrumpFragile In Eurocountries it’s advertised. You buy a sticker for 30/40 euros display it. I’m sure there’s now auto NPR but the police do physical checks and if your caught without it’s a fine of 300/400 euros.

@fatval999 @TrumpFragile @Emma_Roddick Parts of the route have problems no denying. They need sorted. You have to look at the bigger picture. Bad news sells . The majority of visitors are fine and I’m sure would pay a local tourist tax. Most of last years problems were caused by cretins who would normally be in Ibiza.

@TrumpFragile @fatval999 @Emma_Roddick @HighFoodDrink Not really. It’s common in Austria and Switzerland. All visiting vehicles pay a local tax . Issued in shops petrol stations etc. Huge fine if caught without the sticker..
