While I agree with the general point that otome is much larger than BL in terms of industry, I do think it’s sad to say games don’t exist anymore just because they are put out by indie creators when VNs began as doujin games and there are so many amazing doujin BL games coming

there's 1-2 non-indie BL game publishers (parade and nitro+chiral), which release a game like every 5 years. nitro+chiral seems to be on death's door too.
