Itβs the truth
Almost 2 years now β¦. Been wallowing in regrets
A lot of people would not tell you whatβs really happening here until u experience it yourself.
Arrived Canada 25th, 2020 as PR , got here and the regret hit me barely 2 months after.
I Wish i had left earlier
Japa twitter, your eyes usually clear up after 3 months when the abroad excitement is over. Then you realize that you are only working to pay rent, light, water and phone bills. Then you start questioning why you resigned from Access bank. Lastly, u hate n blame Buhari for all.
The amount of sickle cell content I saw on my tl last year when I was dating an AS man, it scared me so much but I was still doing strong head and prayerπ€‘ but Allah sha use other way to force me out of the relationship ππ
If you are AS - and moving to someone or someone is moving to you - for marriage
I believe Genotype should always be the first thing to ask before anything serious starts
You stayed up this late for a football match, you have no reason not to wake up when itβs time for Fajr.
May Allah keep us till then and beyond ππ½.
The moment one person ask about genotype, it simply means they are not AA. AA people are very arrogant, so they donβt go around asking about genotype.
@alhajabalance@Umm_xyelmerh Na why - we no suppose dey engage in such activities be this.
Itβs too much of a risk

For all those early kick off matches

It's not a good look for a man to insist on a woman covering up after marriage if she wasn't doing that before. I have said it before and I will always say it. It's not a good look, no matter how you frame the intent and what not. A partner's dressing is a major issue not minor, it's not a "let's see how it goes situation" or "she will change when we marry". No! Both of you should be on the same page from the outset. Why seek out someone who isn't, or doesn't want to be, on that page? What exactly do you think you are doing? Anyway, from that post, I can't conclusively say whether the lady in question is against "covering up" or not. I know there are women who wait until marriage before wearing the niqab.
That said, we can have these conversations without talking down to women who wear the niqab. I have seen posts mentioning women wearing the niqab who are excelling in their careers as a rebuttal. Alhamdulilah. I love it but even if there were no examples of women who wear the niqab and are excelling in their various fields, it would still never be okay to speak about them in a derogatory manner. We can do better. Let's do better.
Currently at the car rental location to pick up the car we will be using for the road trip and the offered a Range Rover, I declined without thinking twice because something in my head says the vehicle will break down on the way πππ.
