I’ve already accepted the fact that Yoko will probably always be hated by that particular fandom, but what genuinely saddens me is seeing people who don’t even know her joining in on the hate. They just see everyone else doing it and somehow think it’s cool to hate Yoko, almost like school bullies picking on the person they think is an easy target.

Sometimes it really feels like it’s just the 40 of us Yobies against the entire world. 😭 And honestly, I think all of this has traumatized me a little. I’ve become so used to expecting people to say something nasty about Yoko that I automatically prepare myself to defend her or block people.

The other day, someone DM’d me because she noticed I’ve been posting a lot about this new CP. When she asked if I was a Yoko stan, my first thought was, “Oh no, if she says something bad about Yoko, I’m going to have to block her.” 😭 But thankfully, she didn’t say anything bad. We just moved on to other topics, and I remember feeling so relieved. I thought, “Okay, maybe it’s not that bad after all.”

And then this morning, I saw another fan from this new fandom I’m part of talking shit about Yoko. And I just don’t understand it. Why do people who don’t even know her feel so comfortable hating on her? She hasn’t done anything to them. That girl doesn’t deserve to be talked about like that.

I think that’s what hurts me the most. It’s not even the criticism from people who already dislike her. I’ve accepted that. It’s seeing completely unrelated people casually joining the hate without even knowing who Yoko actually is. Sometimes I just wish people would stop treating her like a punching bag simply because it’s become socially acceptable within certain fandom spaces to hate her. 😭

Yoko is a good person. If you don’t like her, that’s okay, but please don’t hurt her with your words. You don’t know her well enough to judge her or decide what kind of person she is. Just be happy supporting your favorite artist and leave mine alone. She has us, her 40 Yobies, and honestly, that’s enough. We’ll continue loving and supporting her no matter what. 🥹🤍

That account has always been shady to some Thai GL actress, acting like they have known the artist personally when in fact the account was established to spread false information. Now that account is attacking Aya and as I have seen even tagged her. No evidence but accusing someone of something they didn’t even do. How dare you tell her what she needs to do. I cannot stay in silence knowing someone is spreading hate to my girl.

The fact that her on screen partner have seen the tweets too, you did nothing but to hurt a person. I hope Aya hasn’t seen anything yet.
