@CastellanoWorks @threejs @nvidia @TimSweeneyEpic
This feels like a strategic wake-up call for Unreal.

[冰月 @IceMoon_Rui]

[冰月 @IceMoon_Rui]

完全打不过sonnet5.5

@yutaka_maya 一眼工作狂...笑死

[冰月 @IceMoon_Rui]

[冰月 @IceMoon_Rui]

Simulated curtains, swinging ropes, and a 64-vertex flag — all using custom strip logic with GPU particles.
Stable, performant & highly responsive to wind and collisions.

@GhislainGir Your efficiency is incredible. I'm thinking about what else can be done besides fluid. shooting, knife slashes on body parts, then creating Niagara Grid Data: Coord/Dir/Mask and ticking to move the mask. Can low precision still give good results?

[冰月 @IceMoon_Rui]

@amu_mhr @virtual_method My idea:
1. Raycast UV →query mesh barycentric coords.
2. Spawn particles.
3. Tick: first query depth map.
4. query mesh neighbor tris for movement.
Likely heavy overdraw cost. Rasterize particles as spheres via raster grid? Maybe particle strips are optimal.

UE5: Using PCG to replace LandscapeGrassTools, adding interactive effects.

@DavitMasia In my current implementation, I have done a side-by-side comparison and found about 30% performance improvement. However, it results in more blurring and blue noise jitter. It's challenging to achieve better performance at the base level compared to the official volume clouds。

UE 5.4 Grid2D_ShallowWater

[冰月 @IceMoon_Rui]

#UE 5.4 #Niagara
[Console Variable]
Fluid 2D
