๐ต๐ญ MNL Manila
- The jeepney is the Philippines' beloved cultural symbol. Born out of the aftermath of World War II, Filipinos repurposed surplus US military jeeps into vibrantly decorated public transport vehicles. Known as the "King of the Road," each jeepney is a moving work of art, reflecting its owner's personality through bold colours and hand-painted designs.
- The obelisk on the left is the Rizal Monument in Rizal Park, dedicated to Dr. Josรฉ Rizal, the Philippines' national hero.
- The walled structure and dome on the right represent Intramuros, Manila's historic 16th-century walled city built during Spanish colonial rule, with the distinctive dome of Manila Cathedral visible within its walls.
- The golden sun with eight rays comes directly from the Philippine flag, where each ray represents one of the first eight provinces that revolted against Spanish rule.
- The white flowers are sampaguita, the national flower of the Philippines. Declared the national flower in 1934, it symbolizes purity, humility, and strength, and is commonly sold in garlands on the streets of Manila.
- MNL is the IATA code for Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
