Don't go to Thailand; it is not safe, so avoid that country.

Not only is the Thai Air Force dropping bombs in Battambang today, strikes are also hitting O’Chrov District, injuring this young girl.
This follows remarks by Anutin Charnvirakul, who said the aim of Thailand’s military action was “to disable Cambodia’s military capability for a long time.”
Placed alongside airstrikes deep inside Cambodia and civilian injuries, that statement is not abstract. It describes intent, and it matches what is now happening on the ground.

It's clear! The world is sitting with wide eyes watching the killers use F-16s to drop bombs to kill Cambodians. Where is the ASEAN community, the international community, the UN, the Friends of Steel, human rights organizations? Don't you see, hear, and hear the sounds of bombs
Steve has lived in Cambodia for 30 years and holds Cambodian citizenship. He has spent decades supporting vulnerable people and is not doing this for fame or money. He maintains solid working relationships with government counterparts and has a clear understanding of what is happening in the country. He is on the ground assisting displaced communities along the border. Against that background, when Thai military officials claim they are striking only military targets, some of those claims are simply false. Here is what he shared this weekend:
"We had a scary distribution to refugees from Beung Trakoun village which has been totally decimated by the enemy. This was on Saturday, December 20. Two families also shared with us that the Thai army is dropping kamikaze drones into unharvested rice fields to burn them up. Most of them have lost everything they own, including their only rice crop. As we were distributing, what looked like a armed Reaper Drone flew directly over us. It sent a wave of panic through everyone. 24 hours later, the village was hit by two F-16 bombs. They did not hit any military buildings, only the village road. Thankfully, no one was killed, but they are once again cowering in fear. 196 families, or approximately 1,000 people received assistance. We were to help 550 families (2,700 people) today, but the whole area was being bombed by F-16s and artillery. These people are so desperately poor and have lost everything, but Thailand continues to terrorize them. The village is 46km from the border. So, clearly, everyone in Cambodia knows this is not an "border dispute" but an invasion. Look at their faces. . . they have lost everything, but they are still kind, gracious and proud to be Khmer."
At 10 a.m., December 24, 2025, bombs fell on a civilian village in Banan district, Battambang. This is a clear violation of international humanitarian law.

Innocent civilians are injured! Houses are destroyed! Students and young children are terrified, screaming and crying!!
This is because the Thai military continues to use fighter jets to drop bombs in populated villages, penetrating deep into Cambodian sovereign territory.
The brutal and indiscriminate attacks by the Thai military constitute a violation of international humanitarian law.
