1) The nature of politics - Can the PAP accept independent ideas or criticisms from other parties, or does it need to maintain the image of having a monopoly on the best ideas

2) The career politician - The high pay structure of being a politician means that for many civil servants, the role of a minister is more of a goal/end-reward rather than that of a public service. If your ideas went against the grain and would jeopardize your chances of running, you are already incentivized to keep your mouth shut by the structure of it.

This France vs Morocco game will be so sweet because, honestly, both teams are completely different from the ones we saw in 2022. They’ve both improved like mad.

France are no longer relying on moments alone. They’re more fluid in possession, more dangerous in transition, and with Mbappe, Olise, Dembele playing at this level, they looks like 10 times better than in 2022.

Morocco, on the other hand, have gone from being a surprise package to a genuine contender. They’re no longer just defending deep and hoping for chances too. They control games better now, they’re more confident on the ball, press higher when they need to, and have added more attacking quality without losing the defensive discipline that made them so difficult to break down.

This isn’t the same matchup we watched in Qatar. Both sides have evolved. France have become even more ruthless, while Morocco have become more complete.
