Losing a bit of steam on my beat em up.
Might take a small break or try something else.
For game design I often end up hitting walls or not knowing what to do next haha.
Tried doing GDD's, one pagers, or give myself some small tasks by day

A bit sleepy today, but did some work on boomerangs, they no longer die after the owner dies.
Was also thinking on adding more combat variety for the player. I feel like once I get it to a good place. I'll move forward

Player can now knockback boomerangs. I feel like it's a bit too powerful and could add a bit more strategy compared to just blocking.

Played around with more enemy AI. and now enemy can shoot stuff in a radius. The game got a lot harder suddenly.

Had a bit more time today, Enemy AI is looking a bit better. Fixed the issue with the weapon switching being slow. It was because a timer wasn't reset. I think it adds alot to the difficulty.

Still working out the idea, but it might be something like a boss rush or endurance mode.

Got my old solution working and modified it a bit. It can follow a list of behaviours and loop them. Still some issues to work out. like waiting a bit too long after weapon switching

Today I am working on integrating Enemy AI.
I have an old solution I made about a year ago on another side project. It's taking me a while to fit it to the game. Currently broken, but at least it's not crashing!

Today I worked on making a moving camera, then also added ability to back hit a character for extra damage.
Also doing a bit of thinking on enemy AI and seeing if I can make interesting combat scenarios
