This month, the theme of the library's book club was Christmas. Students enjoyed three activities, making a Grinch Christmas card, a snow globe bauble and a reindeer cake. It was a great success, with 25 students taking part.
In Geography, Year 7 students have created some fantastic designs for the @UKPolarNetwork's 'Flags for Antarctica' competition. We had over 100 entries and had to narrow it down to eight. Here are the winners! The next time we see these flags, they will be in Antarctica!

In English, Year 8 students have been debating key themes in Lord of the Flies. One class developed its critical thinking skills in a silent debate on their desks while a different group took part in a corridor debate about civility and savagery. Great work, Year 8!
