Mass immigration is not the only possible answer to demographic decline. The deeper challenge is to build societies where families can flourish, young people can afford to have children, and nations can confidently pass their heritage, culture and traditions to the next generation.

🇷🇴 Romanian conservative leader Simion just told Romania’s president that AUR (his party) IS READY TO RUN the country, not heckle it.

He walked out of talks with Nicușor Dan and said his party will not vote for any cabinet it does not sit in.

After months of drift he wants a government that can last four years, and if parliament cannot build one he wants another election.

No ministries have been carved up and no prime minister has been named.

In Dubrovnik I caught up with my good friend @boomgaard_marco, Regional Director Europe at the International Conservative Leadership Council.

Marco argues that Europe is trying to solve its demographic decline through mass migration when governments should instead be making it easier for their own citizens to form families, have children and build a future.

He points to the Netherlands, where he says young people face extraordinary waits for housing, while pressure continues to grow on housing, welfare and public services.

But his central argument goes much deeper than economics:

Europe has a culture, a history and a Christian inheritance worth preserving.

We spoke about family, migration, national identity and why Europe must have the confidence to protect the civilisation it inherited rather than simply manage its decline.

A short but important conversation from Dubrovnik.

Printre participanți se afla și Laura Bretan, cântăreața talentată româno-americană ce a sprijinit cauza familiei tradiționale în România 🇷🇴.
