I’m a cradle Catholic and an artist who fell out of love with the craft for multiple reasons. Looking into religious iconography got me to pick up a pencil again. Here’s my first icon (and first try at tempera): Christ Pantocrator.

I’m not Orthodox, so I don’t know what to do with it now that it’s done. I understand there are traditions around such things and don’t wish to be disrespectful. I’m open to any feedback on the matter.

I don’t think you understand the main issue. It isn’t that this women killed her children, it’s that a large percentage of women online support her.
All men would say a male family annihilator deserves to be executed. Women think Lindsay Clancy should keep her life even after what she did.

It’s not about the action of one women but the hysteria of the multitude.
