@PaisleyBiscuit@floppyFish277@therealsol4ra@wass_FFF@animeupdates To be fair, a native Japanese character having black hair that he dyes a different color isn't exactly a massive retcon or even particularly surprising.
Not defending his weird self-insert fantasy, though.
@CarnivoreKing88 I'd freak out because it'd be better with salami, but I agree that just grilled cheese with some cold cuts on it is basically still a grilled cheese sandwich.
@HodatBest@trevorssb If mid-tier players are willing to play and top-tier players aren't, how are the mid-tier players the problem here?
Regardless, that question is rhetorical because my post was tongue-in-cheek anyway, so do with that what you will.
@EspokunCity@maimai_9876 The English is pretty messed up in this translation, no offense. Here's my take on a translation for those who want something that makes a bit more sense.
@ConManSeven1@MS06ZAKU_II As a certified manga reader that didn't watch the anime, it was still kind of ass, especially towards the end.
Will somewhat defend the people saying it started alright, though.
It had a pretty compelling thrust, and some of the backstories of the sins are well done.
@outtt168672@TheManlet_King To be fair, the original post said nothing about right-wing art. Only that, "Conservatives don't know how to make good cartoons."
I, for one, don't think having a Conservative creator means everything they create is automatically Conservative, and vice versa for Liberals.
@CharlieHaruno@_extension@NCCgaming02 To throw my 2 cents in I'd argue Melee's are better in theory, but Ultimate's are better in practice.
Being ledge trapped for a minute because ledge options suck and there's no invincibility is ass, but refreshable invincibility is simply too abusable in a competitive environment
@simpleton900@animeoutsiders My big problem with this criticism is it paints every male lead with a broad brush simply because visually they tend to be simpler than their heroines, despite usually being fairly fleshed out characters in their own right.
Also it tries to turn being relatable into a bad thing.
@simpleton900@animeoutsiders I don't particularly like Nagatoro as a story, but even Senpai is an accomplished and hardworking artist and wants to better himself.
And while I haven't finished Alya, Kuze is still a former top student and student council president that's slacking due to family drama.

@_GirlSay Calling Frankenstein Sci-Fi isn't wrong per se, but it's a lot like calling "The Erotic Adventures of Dickman and Throbbin," a parody.
Like it's true, but you're kind of missing a much more important category there.
@Thunder_Mage@TheStrxggler All good brother, I apologize if I came across as a smug cunt, it was certainly intentional, I won't deny that, but I will admit that it wasn't polite.
I will do it again though, because I am, on the inside, a bit of a smug cunt.
Not to you though, you're cool.
@Vaxmaxxed@KubiPls@NetScrape_Ltd@PointmanC OK so replace Living National Treasure with inherit and run a successful and well-respected hina doll shop.
And his attractiveness is at the very least acknowledged by Marin so that's 1 point for and 0 against lmao.
Not even acknowledging all his desirable personality traits.
@Thunder_Mage@TheStrxggler Fair enough, I suppose, but you can surely understand my confusion when your comment doesn't address any specific manga and is under a post highlighting Dress-Up Darling.
@Thunder_Mage@TheStrxggler Yes, the guy who can sew complex outfits, paint, draw, do makeup, cook, and quickly learns new skills like handicrafts has no standout qualities or talents and is just an "average boring beta." I don't understand this criticism at all, man.
@Vaxmaxxed@KubiPls@NetScrape_Ltd@PointmanC Gojou is 6'1", on his way to being a living national treasure (this is a literal title used to refer to Japanese craftsmen in traditional art forms), and, while a bit shy and unfashionable, never stated to be unattractive by anyone. He's absolutely not average by any definition.
@iamdayoakins@GoAkashin@grok First box says something like
"I happened to find this, this is you right?"
and second box is something like
"How does a serious teacher have this kind of interest?"
Could be wrong though my Japanese is pretty rookie level comprehension wise.
@rtvrn2svbvrb@emilykmay Any making out I've ever heard of also requires penetration, mind you, it's tongue penetrating mouth, so not strictly speaking the kind of penetration most people mean, but still.
