@thechikunnuggs Unironically, I’d love to see it get no guard. Being able to use reliable Icicle Crashes and Dragon Rushes could give it a fun gimmick. The defensive downsides also don’t seem too bad with its natural bulk and synergy with snow+veil.

Not being able to have a reliable playstyle between modern seasons has really dampened my enjoyment of said seasons. Especially if those seasons also have major lootpool changes in the middle of them. (*cough cough* Shock N’ Awesome)

I feel like this is a hot take in the current Fortnite community but I heavily dislike like large-scale lootpool changes. A new weapon once in a while is fun but completely changing lootpools between seasons while adding new weapons to every category has gotten exhausting.

@gary42796489 Like I said, I have no problems with Hope as a character but she was absolutely introduced as an industry plant. I just think that Epic should’ve done better with the beginning of C5’s story.

@gary42796489 That’s the problem though, that only happened after Hope’s initial introduction as a new protagonist and the damage was done. Because of the lack of explanation, surface-level story followers had already made up their opinions and she never fully recovered.

@gary42796489 All they had to do to make Hope’s introduction palatable imo was tell us how we got to C5 and that it’s island was inhabited by a crime syndicate related to Hope.

@gary42796489 I meant zero explanation for how the story got to Hope’s introduction. There has never been an explanation released by epic for how we got to C5 or how the story progressed to Peely’s kidnapping. My issue with Hope mostly lies with the lack of explanation from C5’s start.

@gary42796489 Every character in existence has to be introduced at some point but key difference is HOW they’re introduced. Jones was never introduced as the protagonist, he became the protagonist after defecting from IO. Hope on the was dropped as his equivalent protag with no explanation.

-C2S2 teased this organization in the device event which first revealed Jones.
-He started as an ally to the IO in C2S5 before defecting in C2S6 and becoming the main protagonist.

I want to like this season but the unnecessary changes that Epic have done to aim assist alongside the already terrible “SBMM” are making it unbearable. (2/2)

Im sorry but this season feels so horrible to play.
The “SBMM” feels like it’s going backwards where I’m getting harder lobbies as I lose,
90% of sprites are useless,
The aim-assist “rework” is fucking me over HARD in close-range fights,
The 8bit shotgun feels one-sided (1/2)
