If you can’t say it without yelling or spewing bitterness, it’s not the time to say it.
Calm down, pray, collect your thoughts, write down what you want to communicate and WAIT.
Wait until you can be civil.
While waiting, you may discover that it doesn’t need to be said.
Father, forgive the words we spoke in secret that we wouldn't say in the light. Heal every wound our tongues have caused and heal us from the need to share our grievances with people who are not invested in proffering viable solutions.
Psalm 34:13 “Keep your tongue from evil."
Speaking poorly of someone always finds its way back to them. If it’s too difficult to address them directly, then don’t speak about them behind their back. Gossip transforms a straightforward issue into a tangled mess.

You can be real without being reckless. The next time you want to "gist" somebody's matter, ask: Does this bring healing or hurt?
We must be accountable for how we handle matters.
Proverbs 16:28 “A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends."
Yes, I'm a Pastor. No, I won't pretend that the "pray for them" WhatsApp broadcast you made isn’t rubbish.
Stop hiding gossip behind your “hallelujahs!”
James 1:26 - "Those who consider themselves religious... yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves."
We love saying "God no go shame us" while we secretly shame others. Gossip is not prayer request. If you won't say it to their face, don't say it behind their back, especially calling it "breaking news."
Ephesians 4:29 “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths."
Some of us will shout "Village people!" when trouble finds us, but won't shout "Sorry" when we are the one who poisoned the village with with our own mouths.
Proverbs 18:21 - "Death and life are in the power of the tongue."

Palm Sunday
They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” — John 12:13
We love a good parade. We love shouting “Hosanna” when Jesus is doing what we want, riding into our plans with power.
Betrayal did not start with a kiss in the garden. It started small, when Jesus did not match Judas’s expectations, when disappointment quietly turned into bargaining.
What “silver coins” are we tempted to trade for Jesus when He does not move on our timetable?
Whatever felt finished on Friday, or seemed hopeless on Saturday, Sunday proves that God’s final word is always life. The same power that rolled away the stone lives in us. So today we do not just celebrate history. We step into a new reality:
Jesus is risen!
Resurrection Sunday
He is not here; he has risen, just as he said! Matthew 28:6
Sunday came. Not because the disciples were faithful enough, but because Jesus was.
Death could not hold Him! Hallelujah!!!!
We do not talk much about Holy Saturday, but we have all lived it, the day after a dream dies, the waiting when God feels silent. If you are in a Saturday today, you are not alone.
The silence is not the end. Sunday is coming!!!
Holy Saturday
So they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting the guard. Matthew 27:66
Saturday was silent. The disciples hid. Jesus was in the grave. The religious leaders thought they had won.
Sometimes the good things God is doing in our lives do not look good in the moment. They look like loss, silence, surrender.
Remember what feels like the end is often the very place God is bringing new life.
Good Friday
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5
Servant hearted love is not reserved for people who deserve it. It is the way of the King.
Who is God calling me to serve today, not with a title but with a towel?
The one who is hard to love?
The one I would rather avoid?
That is where the Kingdom shows up.
