Lots of organizations rolled out Teams in a hurry during Covid. Now their Teams environment is chaos. I'm going to start sharing key ways you can quickly tame these environments and make your tenant fully Copilot-ready.

👉 Step 1: Take a full inventory and delete or archive all inactive teams. Best method? Download the SharePoint Active Sites Report from the Sharepoint Admin Center (filter by Teams-connected sites and last activity date 3 or 6 months ago) and notify group owners to review before deletion.

😎 Pro tip: If you have SharePoint Advanced Management (included in M365 Copilot license or available as a standalone) you can create a site lifecycle management policy that will do this for you automatically.
