Is there any means of verifying the NIN before they give out the rice?
Different people can use the same NIN slip for collection. It's imperative they verify those NINs, not by just sighting the slip alone.
Verification ensures the person is who he claims to be.

We dissecting how people can be extorted in process of validating their NIN.
1. Majority of the agents licenced by @nimc_ng are rogues. They collect money

2. Some agents send to staff at NIMC to help them get it validated at the backend without fee. The staff may do it out of goodwill.

3. Some nimc staff are middlemen between the agents and the backend. They are on the agent's payroll
