@PhoenixRay__ @DrTomFrieden And what do you mean leave Africa alone?? Lack of U.S. funding is partially why this specific outbreak is such a big deal. To leave it alone is to not spread awareness and not encourage more funding, which protects people living there as well as the rest of the globe.

@PhoenixRay__ @DrTomFrieden You do realize that a majority of the world has rats that carry the hantavirus family of viruses? And that North America actually has a lower amount of human exposure than elsewhere, and most of the incidents occur in the West and Midwest, not the East.
