FWIW, I’ve heard more than one person excuse Letlow’s covid vaccine promotion because her husband died with COVID. Many, if not all of us, had loved ones die with COVID, myself included. That is no excuse for using a position of power to promote a harmful, experimental drug. Oddly enough, she made a strong push for the Covid vaccines in late July, early August 2021 - when the Cambridge MA CDC data was released definitively proving the vaccines do not prevent transmission or infection.

I also see a lot of people excusing her behavior by saying “Well Trump promoted the covid vaccines too.”

Yes, he did, at the advice of his advisors, one of whom was John Fleming, who can also be seen during his time on the covid task force (with Fauci) promoting the integrity of the CDC, Covid vaccines, and local mask mandates.

While a lot of attention is on Trump’s endorsement of Letlow, the bigger story IMHO is the fact that he didn’t bestow it on Fleming.
