I'm comfortable giving the student who needed 4 attempts to master a skill the same grade as the student who only needed 1 attempt.

Schools need to look at timetables from a family perspective not just a school, year level or department perspective. We need to know what life is like in homes to understand how students and teachers are coping. #relearn2020

Big question.... how do retain creative confidence in older students? Our younger elementary kids are free to share ideas and ask questions, but how do we maintain this as we get up towards middle school? #relearn2020

-The mixture of these is the best approach.
-Students want some independence
-Synchronous: explanation, instruction and discussion
-Asynchronous for independent tasks

Trust is developed in online learning, through feedback and ongoing conversations between teacher and student. Give them space and permission to ask questions and ask questions regularly! #relearn2020
