we spam founders’ DMs the same way we hate when others or projects we’re not interested in spam ours.

“hey bro, I’m a marketer.”

“i’m a community manager.”

“i can help you grow.”

“are you hiring mods?”

if you’re tired of receiving these messages, imagine how founders feel.

i’ve done it too.

and i’ve learned that your first message shouldn’t be about what you want from the project.

it should be about what you noticed.

- use the product.

- look around.

find the things that aren’t working.

“bro, I like what you’re building, but this part of the UI is confusing.”

“your community is missing this.”

“i noticed this could affect buyers.”

now you’re having a conversation, you’re not begging for a role.

you’re showing that you actually care about what they’re building.

and if the team is new, help them where you can, if something isn’t right, tell them.

if you can’t stand something being done to you, don’t do it to someone else.

sometimes the best pitch is simply:

“i used what you’re building, I found a problem, and I think I can help fix it.”

that’s how I want to approach founders from now on.

With my previous account, I’ll conveniently pull in 1000 refs from a week of posting. I did 7680 refs on sosovalue over a period of time.
So if number of refs is your base for this conclusion, no.

Besides Base app doesn’t allow more than a certain number of wallets on a device, I think 10. can’t be gamed to refer yourself for those numbers.

With no actual verification added to the signup process, disqualifying certain users right now is Archer base simply cheating people out of it by removing people that used refs and didn’t buy shots which wasn’t a compulsory requirement. Nothing else.

Some projects make you pause because they look beautiful.

@TheRIFTNFT_ made me pause because it made me feel something.

I genuinely don’t know how to explain it properly, but there’s something about this world that stayed with me long after I finished reading about it.

The idea of 2,222 manifestations born from something that crossed over into our world is so simple, yet so deep. Every character feels like a piece of a mystery. Every mask, symbol, scar, charm and strange little detail feels like it has a story behind it.

And I love that I can look at one of these characters and immediately start wondering:

What happened to them?
What did they see?
What exactly crossed over?
What part of that encounter became a part of them?

That’s what makes the 2,222 feel special to me.

They aren’t just 2,222 collectibles.

They are 2,222 manifestations of the same mystery, each one carrying its own version of the story.

And honestly, what makes me appreciate @TheRIFTNFT_ even more is the decision to leave space for us.

They could have told us exactly what everything means. Instead, they gave us a world with enough lore to pull us in and enough mystery to let our imagination take over.

2,222 manifestations, but there doesn’t have to be only one interpretation.

Someone might turn their piece into a story.

Someone else might create art around it.

Another person might build an entire theory about what the Rift actually is.

And suddenly, the world becomes bigger than what the original team could have created alone.

That is the kind of community building I deeply appreciate.

Because you’re not just being handed a collection and asked to look at it.

You’re being handed a universe and invited to leave your fingerprints on it.

I think that’s beautiful.

THE RIFT feels like the kind of project I’ll keep coming back to because there will always be another detail to notice, another theory to think about, another manifestation to wonder about.

2,222 manifestations.
2,222 pieces of a story.
2,222 doors into the same unknown.

And maybe that’s what I love most.

They didn’t give us all the answers.

They gave us a reason to keep asking questions.

And I’m genuinely excited to see what we create from it. 🖤
