CWU member Brian Castle, has unfortunately been diagnosed with terminal Pancreatic cancer.

Brian has worked for Parcelforce and Royal Mail for 18 years and has been an amazing friend, colleague and union representative in Poole.

This diagnosis has devastated the family as you would imagine and the aim of this fundraiser is to help Brian, his wife Gemma and their 3 year old son Ben create the most special memories possible in the coming weeks and month.

What a journey it has been so far, as we countdown to election day, the people I have met have been incredible, from the children to the elderly, to the young people through to people who knew my parents.

The stories have been both inspiring and equally heartbreaking when you hear of the hardship some face. This journey I pray will end in a win for us all, so I can truly start to make some difference, but it has definitely changed my life regardless of the result.

There is far more that unites us than divides us, as long as we strive to remove the divisions and unite as humans we will thrive in Leicester.

Thank you to each and every one of you for making time to speak to me or the team and sharing your stories with me and giving me the endless support.

Few more days to go till election day, we got this!
