Let all Christians pray to our Lord to fill anyone’s heart with LOVE & PEACE, who wants to cause damage or disrupt the business at the Capital building. Trust in God’s Leadership! Amen!
@JamesMartinSJ I appreciate you and your Jesuit brothers’ prayers, that Massachusetts governor Healey may return to God’s grace, and away from sin. Thank you all for your prayers, for those innocent victims of her legislation. Amen.
@ChristopherHale Here is Tom Holman’s invitation to Pope Leo, not a raid.
Benny Johnson asked, “Is this your invitation to the pope for a ride-along with ICE?”
Holman responded, “Yes. And I said that. I said, I will sit down and talk to him…”
@TheWatchman_144@ShaneSchaetzel Start w/"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths" (Prov 3:5-6)
Then read the article, check his Bible sources & let God show you the Truth. Finally, Thank God, Amen.
@AuntSnoozie2@ChristopherHale True, but what Democrat or Republican isn’t a Cafeteria Catholic. That is why Pope Leo’s challenges are so important, for us to follow.
@boisdulac_@joaosilveiraaa@Pontifex James, your put down response followed by a BLOCK, nicely done to silence others.
Maybe your problem is you enjoy proving you are more knowledgeable than others.
However, when you put people down, three times in this chain you discredit your PhD.
May God soften your heart.
@boisdulac_@joaosilveiraaa@Pontifex I didn’t say she couldn’t fulfill her position, just that the Pope needs to treat her like any head of state, RC rules.
She can follow her church’s rites, but outside Vatican City.
Congratulations on your PhD in Theology, & your knowledge of the papacy.
May God bless your day.
@boisdulac_@joaosilveiraaa@Pontifex She’s the head of ‘your church’, you should be proud if you agree. However, it seems you have bigots in your church.
Pope Paul VI states the Catholic Church’s position as “it is not admissible to ordain women to the priesthood, for … fundamental reasons.” I agree with the Pope.
@boisdulac_@joaosilveiraaa I was being polite, however, I’m sure the Pope will treat her with respect and dignity . I hope @Pontifex doesn’t do anything or allow her to do anything that elevates her position beyond that of a non-denominational minister. I will still pray for her.
@boisdulac_@joaosilveiraaa Yes, as long as she stays Angelican, however, if she converted to Catholicism, she would need to renounce her orders & become a Catholic layperson. I will be praying for the latter.
@bwbenes@GovChristie@ThisWeekABC Following any President on ANY matter may be a perilous course of action, especially when our media sources agree with the President’s actions & decides not to report it!
At least every action of @POTUS is reported by media.
@ChristopherHale@Pontifex Why no mention of @Pontifex “short-circuit” comment? Could it be that it hits to close to home?
Your party, does provide a reminder to GOP Christians of other areas to serve Christ, but it goes to far in serving Christ by placing to much emphasis on one’s personal preferences.
@ChristopherHale “‘Short-circuit’ of human rights”? Who is @Pontifex addressing? All Christians, especially those who have reduced freedom to “mere personal preferences”.
Are you following the Church’s preferences?
“Being a Christian” text is yesterday’s address, & other is the Diplomatic Corps
@americamag Will @Pontifex say in the future, when a new President is elected, “Anyone who is a disciple of Christ, the Prince of Peace, is never on the side of those who once wielded the” scalpel and today killed an unborn Child of God.
I pray he will continue to shape our conscience.
@ChristopherHale That would be great, the real question is will they stay faithful & committed, when the Church moves through a phase of a conservative Pope.
That Pope will receive criticisms just as Pope Leo hears today.
Can any Pope go far enough to accommodate all Cafeteria Catholic beliefs?
@Cornhuskertom@ChristopherHale It’s strange that so far the responses to your post seem to imply that Liberals are more concerned about who, an English speaking American, delivers the message, not the message itself.
I’m glad that Jesus didn’t just leave a sound recording, there would be no Liberal Catholics.
@DavidKabila4 No, I do not agree with Cardinal Muller, we have a responsibility to God, just as Paul criticized Peter (Gal 2:11-14), we may follow suit, however, we must always treat the person we criticize with dignity and respect.
@PonderHart@ShaneSchaetzel I do agree, this response was to far for Pope Leo. He needs to instruct on our teaching and challenge Catholics, but would he be willing to go as far as to say someone needs to be replaced?
@EightCountEddie@ShaneSchaetzel@annerose4444 Ed, do you know that the secret alliance between Pope John Paul II & President Reagan began with a meeting in 1982 and finally revealed in 1992. That meeting was after each had an assassination attempt on them in 1981.
