You are fooling yourself if you think you can hang around ungodly people and not be influenced by them.

​We love to believe that we are strong enough to resist their influence. We justify it by saying things like, "I know who I am", or claim to tune it out. Scripture calls this fooling yourself.

Your sensitivity to sin will start to numb. The things that used to shock no longer will. You are desensitized by the enemy and don't even realize it.

You begin to accept sin as normal. Things that used to convict you no longer do. The passion you had for God starts to wane and lose its fire. No one around you has it, and you have no iron to sharpen iron. You spend less time, maybe even no time in your Bible because it convicts you, so you avoid it.

It is an act of spiritual maturity to audit your inner circle. You need friends who fan your flame, not friends who douse your fire. If you want to protect your character, you have to protect your circle.

Become wise by walking with the wise. Hang out with fools and watch your life fall to pieces. (Proverbs 13:20)

Tomorrow I should know if I’m going to have a lumbar fusion or disc replacement surgery. My back is totally destroyed and my pain is barely survivable. Plz pray for the doctors wisdom and timing. I am still evangelizing when I can get out but much less due to the pain. Only the psalms and yslls prayers are pulling me through this very difficult time.

@SolaScriptura98 I will keep you in my prayers brother. I'm going to find out the same as well Thursday. MRI showed a collapsed disc pressing a nerve. I can't stand more than a minute or so. I thank God to be partaker of His consolations.

Good Sunday morning friends. Larry transitioned and is now whole and free. Dancing at the feet of Jesus. He lived his life with 💯 assurance he’d spend eternity with our creator. He had no fear of death. He’d want me to tell you, “Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light. No one goes to the father except through Him.” Don’t miss out on living in eternal peace. I’ll be having a life celebration in honor of Larry soon. All are invited. I’ll share more details later. Now I need to get some rest but my heart is at peace. Thank you for all your prayers. My greatest joy in life has been being Larry’s wife. I will carry his love and message going forward. If you ever need prayers for anything don’t hesitate to reach out.

Father God thank for the precious gift of Larry and for taking him home. I know you told him, “Well done good and faithful servant.” Amen. 🙏

This precious family plus grandma, all recieved new bibles. We had a great talk and then I asked them to pray for me. I shared some problems( I wanted to know I’m more stupid-man than Superman), and by the Wawa drink machines we gathered, held hands and prayed. The only name I remember is Vickie. We talked about John 1 and the errors of Jehovahs witnesses. Pray for their salvation and that these Bibles will not be wasted.
