This is part of the Israeli government's escalated strategy of ethnic cleansing. Today, we are publishing a new report: “The Next Frontier: Violence by Israeli Civilians Against Palestinians in Areas A and B"

Over the past two years, settlers have begun establishing outposts in Areas A and B with state support. Our new report shows how the line of outposts also marks the line of violence: In 2026, 63% of the incidents of settler violence against Palestinians documented by Yesh Din took place in areas A or B.

The data we collected and analyzed clearly show that wherever outposts are established, violence follows - reaching into Palestinian living areas, villages, homes, and courtyards.

The systematic, organized violence carried out deep within Palestinian territory, with institutional backing and support, demonstrates that these acts form part of a coherent Israeli policy: “cleansing” the area of Palestinians. Or, in other words - ethnic cleansing.

Every home, every family, and every piece of land in Umm Al-Khair now faces an existential threat from state-supported settler attacks inside their village and around their homes — all under the pretext of “disputed land.”

Watch: Just last week, In the village of Umm al-Khair, Khalil Hathaleen showed Shared Safety Delation members a settler outpost that has been established right in a Palestinian family’s backyard — in what has become an effort to displace the entire village.

The home featured in our video, belonging to Salem Hathaleen and his family, is merely an initial target.

But now the entire village is at risk. In a sudden and highly alarming move, Israeli authorities have changed the maps and land classifications concerning Umm Al-Khair — reclassifying over 90% of the land previously recognized as privately owned now as “disputed land.”
