for a min I was challenged. I didn’t understand why marriage was the metaphor between Christ and the church..

is equivalent in value and spoken with the same heart..
And It’s actually kind of beautiful…
adulthood really comes down to discerning what and who to give your time and energy to. every single day. this is why solitude is a priority for some folks. they just don’t know who to give their time and energy to. they know it’s safe and valued when they save it for themselves.
I’ve been chewing on something Tracee Ellis Ross said on a podcast. She was talking about being worried about making wrong decisions in life and messing up the course of her “destiny,” and eventually realized you can’t mess it up. YOU CAN’T MESS IT UP!
