Hi, I’m looking for a new loving home for my precious cat. His name is Moremi, he’s about 2+ years. He’s grumpy independent guy but he actually loves people. He’s going to be neutered. Please leave a message/comment if you might be interested.
1 year ago today Yelwata, Nigeria, hundreds of Christians were massacred. Their homes and shops razed to the ground. Another average night turned into bloodshed, as has been the story for 2 decades in Nigeria. Across Nigeria, innocent people have continued to be slaughtered while the government and forces look on. For decades, mothers have lost their children, fathers have been butchered , children burned to charcoal. Yelwata is the testimony to the reality of what has happened and is currently happening across relatively every state in Nigeria. The world, especially Christians, should refuse to standby and look on and evil is carried out.
When was the last time? When was the last time you heard something — like anything — positive about a core Nigerian process? Because I keep coming up empty.
I finally found the strength to read Chimamanda’s letter. I had been avoiding it because I knew it would break my heart, but I thought the loss would be the thing that destroys me. But it wasn’t. It is the process. The cold, calculated, heartless process they are putting her family through.
A world-renowned person like Chimamanda is being manipulated this way, and the legal justice is being intentionally dragged and dragged—and despite daunting evidence, the accused still remains practicing. No suspension, no nothing. No reports. No acknowledgment. No nothing.
And this is Chimamanda o. The Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
Now imagine the fate of the common man.
People see unfair situations in “mighty” places and say “sue them”, “get a lawyer”. Where? In Nigeria? You’ll have better luck riding a horse through a needle’s eye.
Lmao. An average person can never get justice in Nigeria against an unfair, unlawful system. Never.
They will gaslight you until you run out of courage or money, whichever comes first. We’ve seen this happen again and again.
If something like this can happen to someone who has the voice, power, influence and real money, imagine me. Imagine you.
Such a lawless country. There are only a few things I hate more than the state of things in Nigeria.
“I’m proud to be Nigerian.” Pfft.
BREAKING NEWS: Boko Haram/ISWAP t€rrorists invaded Kautikari village of the Chibok local government area in Borno State, setting primary and day secondary schools ablaze.
The more I try to be quiet about this, the more I realize people need to know what we are not talking about.
A church revival was attacked.
A pastor was killed.
Families were torn apart in minutes.
Among those taken were three siblings. Their mother, who had initially escaped by running away went back because her children were among those being taken.
A church member rushed to help the pastor after the attack.
He had an accident on the way too and by the time he regained consciousness, he was told his wife and 3 children had been abducted.
The man lost his leg!
Now, more than 40 days later, families are still waiting for answers.

Those children would have cried and cried and cried. Prayed, prayed and prayed! It’s haunting! This is about to be their 27th night as captives of terrorists. Rain is falling, the nights are cold. A child amongst them has died from the harsh conditions. They witnessed a beheading and a shooting. The trauma of it all! 😭😭
“We were paid 60 million naira by the government to release the girls, we used the money to buy more rifles”. The abduction of Oyo & Borno children is funded & motivated by the ransoms paid by the Nigerian government for the Jangebe, Kankara & other kidnapped children.”
Bandit kingpin talked on where they get funding for rifles & co. 😳😳😳
Terrorists just beheaded 8 soldiers like goats, and the entire nation is dead silent. No statement from the government, no flags at half-mast, nothing. Their lives are clearly worthless to this regime.
By the end of the month, their widows and children will be thrown out of the barracks like trash.
APC is a fucking cancer eating this country alive.
Honestly, I wish you could take this message to the wider Nigerian community.
I remember when my child wasn't speaking at almost 3years old. She wasn't calling mama or dada...nothing. It's was obvious there was a problem. And the school was concerned, I was concerned too and they offered help.
My community said don't accept anything o, the child will be fine. Anything you accept, they'll label the child something and that child will never go as far as they need to go
Anyway, I didn't listen to all of that. I accepted to work with the speech and language therapist at nursery, another at the GP. Went for sessions weekly.
The free hours nursery wasn't enough and then we couldn't afford more. So, although we weren't entitled to public funds, the speech and language therapist (bless that woman) helped us apply for and we got granted full time at nursery.
And before long, we saw progress. Right now, the only time that child closes her mouth is when she's asleep 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Goes to one on the best Grammar for girls in the country.
We really need to educate our Nigerian community take this message to churches, mosques, town meetings... Etc. Let's stop running away from support cos of fear of being labelled.
