Started as IT Support → moved into Cloud → now deep into Data Analysis.
Just finished my first Excel dashboard 📊 a Retail Sales analysis covering:
• ₦125.4M total revenue across 558 units sold
• Revenue breakdown by region (Lagos leading at 21.6%)
Most graduate trainee programmes I’ve seen recently from established companies now require at least a 2:1.
A 2:2 is becoming a barrier to getting your first job.
I don't even know who to blame.
Any entry roles or graduate trainee.
Will soon do my pop this month.
If I was given a blank cheque I would pick monipoint @moniepointng as my starting career
Well. I will first ask some certain questions. To know which area my younger bro/sis has interest in. Tell them what at stake on each of these courses. Tell them the realistic ones. All i can do is to advice them. But left to me oo I will tell them to pick computer science.
As an elder brother or sis and your siblings asked for your opinion on the course they wish to study.
He/she is science student
Which will you pick among these that gives them an edge immediately they graduate?
1) Microbiology
2) Agriculture
3) Computer science
5) Engineering Technology
6) Fisheries
7) Medicine and surgery.
People who come back to appreciate you no matter how little are truly a gem.
I lost count on people who got opportunities here.
Some came back, others didn’t. Sincerely i don’t care.
My concern is getting you engaged no matter how little it is.
This fellow i pray opportunities doesn’t depart from your journey, you will continue to be beneficiary of anything good.
May God bless me with the opportunity to watch Manchester City play at the Etihad one day. 🙏🏾💙 Just once, I want to experience that atmosphere, sing with the fans and watch my team live. I pray that day comes soon. 🩵🏟️
Why can accurate data still produce misleading insights?
Because accurate data isn’t automatically representative data.
Your numbers can be correct while the story they tell is incomplete.
Here’s why
• The data may represent only a specific group.
Imagine analysing customer feedback where 80% of respondents are long-term customers.
The responses are accurate.
But new customers may have completely different experiences.
Your analysis reflects the people who responded not necessarily your entire customer base.
• Data collection can introduce bias.
Who was asked?
Who chose to respond?
Who was excluded?
If certain groups are consistently missing from your dataset, your conclusions may be skewed even when every recorded value is correct.
This is really brilliant
Also didn't know what tech skill to learn. Dived into cloud computing but looked complicated.
Before moving to Data Analysis which i really feel comfortable with.
This is really going to help a lot of young graduates who are confused.
