@WLV_DoctoralCol@BenHalligan @DebCureton Thanks to Debra and Ben for your recent vlog on methodology. Very clear! Loved the Sunday roast analogy even if I don’t eat meat!😉
@angelamchesler@AcademicChatter Congratulations on your debut publication. It’s been stated and overstated - we’re in weird toxic times and it’s everywhere! Hold on to your good work, good self and good people. Your work is here for posterity. As for the negatives- my mum used to say ‘this too shall pass’.
Can anyone recommend a free simple system to keep me abreast of the info I’m collating for my 1831 slave narrative? So far I have 12 themes (chapters?) with subheadings; sometimes the subheadings cross with my main themes. How can I avoid this becoming unwieldy? Happy Sunday!
@sealsandsass @AcademicChatter Hmmm? Spotted eh?...You know what I’m gonna do now...research ‘spotted seal’ Procrastinating? Me ? I’m a serious PhD woman - making sense of my new identity...spotted seal.Hmm...Muchos ta!
@guardian Too soon - the passing of our wonderful woman writers in 2019. Andrea Levy, Toni Morrison and now Deborah Orr.
Your vivacity, your challenges and your supremely high standards live on in the wealth of work you have left us.Thank you.
@AcademicChatter I’m analysing a narrative by Mary Prince,1831!Uneducated and enslaved, she was no Harriet Tubman but despite the whippings she still wanted her freedom? How so? Life would have been so much easier to comply. No pics AC but I miss my cat, Tupac.I found him a new home 18 months ago.
@sealsandsass @AcademicChatter Now I’ve retweeted, how do you match my seal-personality! Really curious-I’ve retweeted all over the place! Happy Monday!
