BOLA TINUBU IS VERY INTERESTED IN OYO GUBER ELECTION 2027.

In the history of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde is the most loved Governor the state has ever had, last election he won in all LGAS handsomely despite aligning with Tinubu in 2023, his supporters still maintained the undiluted love they have for him.

His preferred successor, Bimbo Adekanbi is the guber candidate for APM a party Seyi Makinde moved into and is currently the Presidential flag bearer of the party. Bimbo Adekanbi was the Commissioner of Finance from 2015-2019.

On the other hand, the APC’s Guber candidate in the State, Sharafdeen Alli is currently a senator, he used to be a member of PDP and supported the coalition that contributed to Seyi Makinde’s victory in 2019, he’s backed by Oba Rasheed Ladoja and The President.

Sharafadeen was SSG to Ladoja when he was Governor from 2003-2005 and was Chief of Staff as well from 2005- 2007.

In the history of Oyo State, no Governor has succeeded in producing a successor, will Seyi Makinde break the jinx ? Let’s see.
