Oil producing nations that have free education:
1. Norway.
2. Saudi Arabia.
3. UAE.
4. Kuwait.
Oil producing nations with heavily subsidised education:
1. Malaysia (~90% subsidised)
2. Brazil (subsidised for low income households)
3. Denmark (~85%)
4. Kazakhstan (~87%)
5. Russia
6. Azerbaijan (even subsidises the cost of foreign education for her citizens)
7. Algeria.
8. Iraq.
All oil producing countries. All funding education for her citizens at one capacity or the other.
But you have another Oil producing country headed by clueless leaders who deem it fit to tax those they should be relieving under the guise of "education." And there are fools defending this!
🚨READ CAREFULLY TO THE END. IMPORTANT:
Yesterday, while i was offline, i was busy saving a life that others already assumed were as good as lost. Well, they say with me, no one can ever say never till i pull off my ward coat or drop my stethoscope.
Bottom line of this beautiful story is, she is out of coma but will DEFINITELY survive. I give her a week or two and she will be back to her family, in fullness of health and joy.
But this is not the point of this post or why i tell this story. I am telling this as a form of
ADVICE to you who will bother reading this:
Knowing the Laws of your country is VERY IMPORTANT cos when you know the laws, you would clock RIGHTS you didn’t know you have, even as you sit and read this post.
Please tell me how this female patient would have stood a chance at survival if she didn’t have HEALTH INSURANCE. What would have been more sad wouldn’t have been the fact that a disease killed her but the fact that she could NOT afford to treat herself, having managed to get to the hospital faintly ALIVE.
The thing is, most people don’t know that in 2022 precisely, the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) Act was signed into Law and mandates, adminonishes and encourages all citizens in Nigeria to have insurance, preventing issues with first stage payments at arrival at hospitals.
This is what has contributed to saving this woman’s life and she will realise that when she is fully fit in some day’s time. She heeded this admonition and see how it is paying off for her. Her bills are not the problem at all, even though they are well above her pay grade.
Being debied care cos you cannot pay a sum upfront, shouldn’t happen to anyone, with this law in existence.

I watched a video that shifted something in me.
A Ghanaian creator broke down wealth using Ibrahim Mahama, one of Ghana's richest men, worth over $1B.
He said Dangote is 29x richer than Mahama.
Then he said Elon Musk is 900x richer than Dangote.
He continued, add Mahama and Dangote together, Musk is STILL 30x richer than both combined.
His point hit hard: everybody is poor compared to somebody else.
So before you even start your financial journey, understand this, you should only compare yourself to yourself. Nobody else.
Look at who you were last year versus who you are now. Are you growing? Saving more? Making wiser money decisions?
That's the only comparison that actually matters. Chasing other people's numbers will only leave you frustrated and unhappy.
Compare yourself to your past self. That's the real race.
