'Israel' is circulating pictures like these of men stripped down to their underwear, claiming that they are captured resistance fighters who surrendered.
Here is a list of observations that I hope you take to heart:
1. These are not fighters: several of them have been recognized BY NAME as civilians on social media.
2. A second reason they can't be fighters is that Palestinian freedom fighters DO NOT mass surrender, as they believe in, and strongly prefer martyrdom.
3. IF they were fighters, pictures would be presented of their weapons - none have been shown.
4. What is being sold as a 'military victory' is in fact a WAR CRIME - and worries are rising that these civilian men will be summarily executed.
5. Zionists all over social media are cheering over this new Israeli fabrication - and that is exactly the purpose of this lie. The Israeli army wants to show the Israeli public a victory, so it makes one up. It is clearly working, as cognitive dissonance has had Israelis believing in almost every lie, while the rest of the world has been ridiculing them.
6. These pictures will do nothing to give hope to the Israeli public of retrieving the hostages - as these civilians themselves may he tortured, but actually have no knowledge of anything, including the whereabouts of the hostages.
7. It remains to be seen how Western media will respond to these publications, but for the Israeli propaganda purposes outside of 'Israel', these pictures practically serve no goal.
Thank you all for watching the @mehdihasanshow for the past 3 years.
Proud to have hosted one of the highest-rated @msnbc shows on the weekend and one of the most viral shows on the network.
🚨🇮🇱 An ISRAELI hostage just wrote a VERY NICE LETTER to Hamas! No wonder Israel doesn’t let their hostages SPEAK!
“To the generals who have accompanied me in recent weeks, it seems we will part ways tomorrow, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your extraordinary humanity shown towards my daughter, Emilia.
You were like parents to her, inviting her into your rooms whenever she desired. She acknowledges feeling like all of you are her friends, not just friends, but truly beloved and good.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the many hours you spent as caregivers.
Thank you for being patient with her and showering her with sweets, fruits, and everything available even when it was not.
Children should not be in captivity, but thanks to you and other kind people we met along the way, my daughter felt like a queen in Gaza...
In general, she acknowledges feeling like the center of the world. She hasn't met anyone on our long journey, from the rank and file to the leadership, who didn't treat her with gentleness, affection, and love.
I will forever be a prisoner of gratitude because she did not leave here with a lifelong psychological trauma. I will remember your kind behavior, granted here despite the difficult situation you were dealing with yourselves and the severe losses you suffered here in Gaza. I wish in this world we could truly be good friends.
I wish you all health and well-being... Health and love to you and your families' children.
Many thanks.
Danyal and Emilia"
