The hypocrisy is what gets people. Tanya Plibersek talks like she’s the moral referee of Australian politics, but she’s married to a man with a serious drug‑trafficking conviction who went on to work in major government departments. Apparently it’s fine to sleep with one, but not fine to talk to one. That double standard is what leaves people absolutely flabbergasted.

How does a convicted heroin trafficker end up running major government departments? Who opened the doors for him? Who did he know?
