-People can vote as young as 16
-Voting is mandatory unless you are illiterate or over 70. Blank votes are permitted
-Despite requiring everyone to vote they hold elections on a single Sunday

Ignore the politics and notice the window glass thickness. This is an armored car and this is one of my favorite things to mention to Americans when they ask me how dangerous living in Brazil is.

Brazil has the largest fleet of civilian armored cars in the world by A LOT: 400k vehicles and growing 10% a year.

It is common for upper-middle-class families to buy a car model worse than they could normally afford so that they can make it bullet-proof. I know many such cases and these are not super rich families.
