2. a former employee used their privileged position at the company to misappropriate ~12.3K SOL (~$1.9m)
3. https://t.co/5I8qHw5GNN is back live. you can launch new coins and trade any coin that did not reach 100% between 15:21-17:00 UTC
4. to make users whole, any coin that reached 100% between 15:21-17:00 UTC will go live on raydium with >= 100% of the liquidity that it previously had within the next 24 hours
5. trading fees are now 0% for the next 7 days

Here is the detailed rundown of what happened:

at 15:21 UTC, a former employee, having illegitimately taken access of the withdraw authority using their privileged position at the company, used flash loans on a Solana lending protocol to:

1. Borrow SOL

2. Use that SOL to buy up as many coins as they can so these coins hit 100% on their respective bonding curves

3. Once these coins hit 100%, gain access to the bonding curve liquidity

4. repay flash loans

by 17:00 UTC, all trading on https://t.co/5I8qHw5GNN was halted. Out of a total of $45m of liquidity in the bonding curve contracts, only ~$1.9m was affected

NEXT STEPS

the https://t.co/5I8qHw5GNN team redeployed the contracts. trading is live again with 0% trading fees for the next 7 days. you can safely create coins and buy and sell them

coins that reached 100% between 15:21-17:00 UTC are in limbo, meaning that no one can trade them until LPs are deployed for them on Raydium

to make users whole, the https://t.co/5I8qHw5GNN team will seed the LPs for each affected coin with an equal or greater amount of SOL liquidity that the coin had at 15:21 UTC within the next 24 hours
