PASTOR ISHORIBO SAI – THE JANUARY MAN

Today, 31st January 2026, makes it exactly 40 years since the demise of this great man. Yet, his footsteps still echo loudly in the life of the NKST Church.

He is called the January Man because of the coincidences relating to his lifetime on earth;
> Born in JANUARY
> Married his wife in JANUARY
> Ordained as a Pastor in JANUARY
> Transferred from Apir Classis to HARGA Classis in JANUARY
>Honoured with the Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) in JANUARY 1982
>Retired from active service in JANUARY
> Died in JANUARY

Rev. (Dr) Joseph Elisha Ishoribo Sai (MON) was not just a Pastor; he was a movement. A man whose faith was deep, quiet, uncompromising and contagious. He gave his entire life—strength, intellect, time and love—to the service of God and the growth of the NKST Church.

He is regarded as the pillar of the modern NKST church.
