Every zone fought. Every point earned. Every moment mattered.
Through pressure, setbacks, and expectations, we stayed locked in and finished the story the way we dreamed of.

The tournament season of events have quickly become part of a new ecosystem that the competitive TEKKEN gamer may not be familiar with. Please allow me to explain.
You’ve likely seen that Esports World Cup 2025 for TEKKEN 8 just finished with Ulsan winning the title for the second year in a row. In less than 2 years he has earned over half a million dollars with the two EWC events alone.
EWC is the largest prize pool with also the most potential for a competitive player to sustain an org sponsorship.
The EWC Club Championship is a points based system that runs through the entire duration of EWC. Clubs (teams/organizations) qualify by having an affiliated player/team win a game championship and they can earn points from there. The highest clubs on the points leaderboard can win up to 7 million (yes million) USD. The overall prize pool for the club championships is 27 million and it’s split across the Top 24 clubs.
The value in investment of the fighting game player is much more important if you think about the value proposition.
It’s much more cost effective for organizations to sponsor a player(or group of players) with a salary, travel and the proper training environment to prepare for this series of events. Remember for TEKKEN 8, there were 11 different events that qualified into the EWC — giving chances to competitors around the world. In most cases, because of how the qualification path is designed, most players DO NOT NEED TO WIN an event to qualify. They just need to place within the threshold (depends on event; some do Top 4, some Top 1 etc).
A few points to know:
• make it known early that you’re looking for a team/organization and that your goal is to compete and qualify for events like EWC
• because these community events (qualifiers) are also likely TEKKEN World Tour events, it will behoove you to train with that in mind
• know your value/worth and be prepared to explain what your plan to make this a success — sponsors/orgs will be more likely to support you if you can present this to them like a business plan with all the factors of success listed out clearly
• in other words, don’t half ass it. Really try to create a concrete plan that will help you achieve a realistic goal (qualifying for TWT/EWC, placing at majors etc). If you need to train in Pakistan, Japan or Korea? List that. Need a coach/access to teammates to train with? List that.
These are just a few of the things that I hope players will consider as they strive for success next year.
For organizations and players reading this, my DMs are open and I’m more than happy to give advice (within reason) on preparing yourself for the next battle.
This is my will and my final message. If these words reach you, know that Israel has succeeded in killing me and silencing my voice. First, peace be upon you and Allah’s mercy and blessings.
Allah knows I gave every effort and all my strength to be a support and a voice for my people, ever since I opened my eyes to life in the alleys and streets of the Jabalia refugee camp. My hope was that Allah would extend my life so I could return with my family and loved ones to our original town of occupied Asqalan (Al-Majdal). But Allah’s will came first, and His decree is final. I have lived through pain in all its details, tasted suffering and loss many times, yet I never once hesitated to convey the truth as it is, without distortion or falsification—so that Allah may bear witness against those who stayed silent, those who accepted our killing, those who choked our breath, and whose hearts were unmoved by the scattered remains of our children and women, doing nothing to stop the massacre that our people have faced for more than a year and a half.
I entrust you with Palestine—the jewel in the crown of the Muslim world, the heartbeat of every free person in this world. I entrust you with its people, with its wronged and innocent children who never had the time to dream or live in safety and peace. Their pure bodies were crushed under thousands of tons of Israeli bombs and missiles, torn apart and scattered across the walls.
I urge you not to let chains silence you, nor borders restrain you. Be bridges toward the liberation of the land and its people, until the sun of dignity and freedom rises over our stolen homeland. I entrust you to take care of my family. I entrust you with my beloved daughter Sham, the light of my eyes, whom I never got the chance to watch grow up as I had dreamed.
I entrust you with my dear son Salah, whom I had wished to support and accompany through life until he grew strong enough to carry my burden and continue the mission.
I entrust you with my beloved mother, whose blessed prayers brought me to where I am, whose supplications were my fortress and whose light guided my path. I pray that Allah grants her strength and rewards her on my behalf with the best of rewards.
I also entrust you with my lifelong companion, my beloved wife, Umm Salah (Bayan), from whom the war separated me for many long days and months. Yet she remained faithful to our bond, steadfast as the trunk of an olive tree that does not bend—patient, trusting in Allah, and carrying the responsibility in my absence with all her strength and faith.
I urge you to stand by them, to be their support after Allah Almighty. If I die, I die steadfast upon my principles. I testify before Allah that I am content with His decree, certain of meeting Him, and assured that what is with Allah is better and everlasting.
O Allah, accept me among the martyrs, forgive my past and future sins, and make my blood a light that illuminates the path of freedom for my people and my family. Forgive me if I have fallen short, and pray for me with mercy, for I kept my promise and never changed or betrayed it.
Do not forget Gaza… And do not forget me in your sincere prayers for forgiveness and acceptance.

This is what our beloved Anas requested to be published upon his martyrdom.
I did an interview with Mohammed aka Gym Rat In Gaza about his training and diet right now. Bro is truly such an inspiration to the fitness community and it was an honour to get to chat with him!
Here’s the video: https://t.co/xdi66IjG5k
Also, no pressure, but there's a link to support his family and the community in Gaza in the description box of that video.
I personally supported this fundraiser and the money will help provide food, water, shelter, and evacuation help to families in Gaza. 🇵🇸❤️🙏🏻
